So finally the dressing table is in my bedroom. Yippee! Somewhere for my underwear and nighties to live at long last :).
But I haven't finished with it yet. I have a plan to make it more in keeping with my bedroom scheme and to give it a little 'Great Gatsby' style. Decadent and Deco......and I have already started to gather together the bits and bobs needed to re-style my vintage dressing table from a little brown duckling to an elegant swan, lol!

Other arrivals on the same day included my vintage kimono fabric won on Ebay from the lovely Tomoko-san in Japan. Domo arigato T! It's every bit as gorgeous in the flesh!
Well worth the wait and what a lovely message. Great seller with lots of authentic vintage Japanese kimono.
That's all for the moment but expect a full reveal of the dressing table soon, I'm totally excited at this last piece for my bedroom makeover and then it's time to get stuck in again in the lounge which has issues all of its own!
